Crosbies Chocolate Cake


Creating an excellent chocolate cake requires a very delicate balance of ingredients and we had to work hard to get this one just right. After eight recipe developments Clare was eventually happy. The result is a cake that has all the chocolate flavour you’d expect from us while retaining a moist yet light texture. Finished with a layer of chocolate ganache and sprinkled with white chocolate beads this is an absolute banger!


Ingredients: wheat flour (contains calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin). Raising agent: sodium bicarbonate, sugar, butter (milk), cocoa powder, free range eggs, baking powder.

Icing: chocolate (55% cocoa solids), icing sugar, butter (milk), white chocolate balls (white chocolate (milk, whey), crisped cereals (wheat), soya, lecithin)

Made in a kitchen where nuts are used.

Shelf life: 10 days
